James Rosselle’s Petalears
Marvelous Molds® is excited to collaborate with internationally recognized cake artist, James Rosselle. The fruits of our combined creative efforts have resulted in the invention of ingenious silicone mold designs for flowers.
James Rosselle’s extensive background in cake design followed his graduation from the California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, CA. Subsequently, James learned his meticulous detail and creativity with color while working with master cake designer Ron Ben Israel in New York City. James later accepted a position with acclaimed pastry chef Gale Gand, co-owner of TRU restaurant and creator of Food Network’s “Sweet Dreams”. James has also worked with renowned sugar artist and chocolatier Ewald Notter and taught a 24 week course in the European Pastry and Baking Program at the Notter School.
James Rosselle took first place four times on the Food Network series ‘Challenge’. He has also starred in the network’s series “Last Cake Standing.” In 2011, James was named one of the “Top Ten Cake Artists in North America”, by Dessert Professional Magazine, which included a two-page feature interview.
Marvelous Molds® has captured the realism and beauty of James’ exquisite gum paste flowers in a Floral Molds Collection. Now cake decorators of all skill levels can proudly present professional looking flowers on their cakes with the ease and perfection characteristic of all Marvelous Molds® products.
